Santa Barbara Foundation has new North County headquarters

IN THIS ARTICLE

The Santa Barbara Foundation will formally open its new North Santa Barbara County headquarters at 2625 S. Miller St. Ste. 101 in Santa Maria on Nov. 30.

It will take the place of its smaller, former North County location at 120 E. Jones St. Ste. 110 in Santa Maria. The new space will allow the nonprofit to better serve its donors and partners through foundation board and committee meetings, community gatherings and educational forums.

Foundation President and CEO Ron Gallo and Board of Trustees Chairman Jim Morouse will announce the opening of the new regional headquarters at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 30.

The Santa Barbara Foundation is the largest community foundation in the county and has been investing in northern Santa Barbara County for close to four decades. This year, it has awarded more than $15 million to around 700 nonprofits countywide that support health and human services, student aid and education, arts and culture, animals and the environment, and youth development.
