Inphi’s acquisition of ClariPhy Communications, valued at $277 million in addition to the assumption of some liabilities, was completed Dec. 12.

The deal, announced Nov. 1, gives the semiconductor producer with operations in Westlake Village access to products that are complimentary to its own, providing high-performance but low-power platforms for its customers, President and CEO Ford Tamer said in a news release.

“We believe this will provide customers with faster time-to-market, proven quality and competitive cost,” he said.
