Assemblymember Monique Limón (D-Santa Barbara) introduced legislation on March 26 creating a deadline to provide public access to the coast at Hollister Ranch. Limón’s bill, AB 1680, directs the Coastal Commission, Coastal Conservancy, State Parks, and State Lands Commission to develop a public access plan by April 1, 2020.
