Vodka and latkes on menu at Bettina
Husband and wife team Brendan Smith and Rachel Greenspan, owners of restaurant Bettina in Santa Barbara’s Montecito Country Mart, will offer a Vodka & Latke Night on Dec. 22 and Dec. 23 to celebrate Hanukkah.
Vodka & Latke Night includes a trio of latkes with toppings of persimmon and apple compote; crème fraiche and caviar; and prosciutto with salsa di dragoncello (tarragon pesto), served with a Koskenkorva vodka martini.
For the entire eight days of Hanukkah, Bettina will be lighting a menorah and featuring traditional Sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) for dessert.
