New CEO takes helm at LogicMonitor

IN THIS ARTICLE

LogicMonitor, a Santa Barbara-based cloud software company and one of the region’s biggest employers in that sector, announced some moves at the top on Jan. 6, including a new CEO.

Christina Kosmowski

Christina Kosmowski, formerly the company’s president, took over from former CEO and co-founder Kevin McGibben, who is now LogicMonitor’s executive chairman.

Kosmowski joined LogicMonitor in 2020 as president and began overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations, while planning her transition to CEO. She has also been an executive at Slack and Salesforce.

Kosmowksi has begun to “build out her new leadership team,” according to a LogicMonitor news release, with the Jan. 1 hiring of a new CFO and a new chief revenue officer. The new CFO is Carol Lee, who has been CFO of the software companies Wrike and GoodData. The new chief revenue officer is Will Corkery, until recently the CRO at the software company Boomi.

McGibben’s retirement as CEO comes after nearly 11 years in the job, in which time LogicMonitor’s annually recurring revenue grew from less than $1 million to more than $150 million. He also oversaw the company’s acquisition in 2018 by Vista Equity Partners.
