Paso Robles-based Pearce Renewables, a subsidiary of Pearce Services, has acquired Natron Resources, a leading provider of design and engineering services for solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems, the company announced in an Aug. 14 press release.

The company did not disclose the financials of the acquisition.

Pearce Renewables is the largest independent services provider in the renewable energy industry, providing repair, maintenance, and engineering services for solar, wind, electric vehicle (EV), and energy storage system customers nationwide.

According to the press release, the acquisition expands Pearce’s existing engineering capabilities for renewable energy generation systems.

“I am delighted to welcome the entire Natron Resources team to the Pearce family and honored they have decided to partner with Pearce to accelerate their growth,” Michael Wolf, Pearce Renewables’ COO, said in a press release.

“The addition of Natron Resources represents a huge step towards Pearce’s goal of being the national leader in commercial and utility-scale solar engineering services.”

Based in San Francisco, Natron was founded in 2008 and provides comprehensive electrical, civil, and structural engineering services for renewable energy and general commercial customers. “Over the past 15 years, Natron Resources has developed a strong reputation for being an expert in our industry and for our deep bench of high-performing, seasoned professionals,” Jeff Ansley, founder and president of Natron Resources, said in a press release.

“The combination with Pearce will provide tremendous career advancement opportunities for the entire Natron team and will provide additional resources needed to meet our customers’ growing demand for solar energy engineering services.”
