Spiral Binding, a leading manufacturer and worldwide distributor of a diverse line of print finishing, graphic arts, and presentation products and services, is shuttering its operations in Camarillo and laying off 135 people in the process.

In a filing with the state’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, Spiral Binding said that the facility located at 431 Calle San Pablo in Camarillo will permanently close on Sept. 26, with all employees being terminated on or about that date.

“This timetable is based on the best information currently available. However, various factors may still affect the timing of any employment separations,” the filing read.

The company added that due to the closure, there will not be any “bumping rights” that would allow any employee the ability to bump or displace another employee from their position.

Spiral Binding has been in business for over 90 years and is based in New Jersey. The company also has a location in Illinois
