Flyhouse, a tech driven private aviation platform for booking charter flights, has acquired charter operator Sun Air Jets, which is headquartered at Camarillo Airport.

The acquisition was announced Dec. 29. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“This moment is more than just an acquisition – it’s a powerful step forward in our mission to disrupt the private aviation industry and create a global luxury brand that delivers a seamless, frictionless experience,” Jack Lambert, CEO of Arizona-based Flyhouse, said in a press release.

Sun Air is headquartered at Camarillo Airport and operates extensively at Van Nuys Airport too.

It offers jet charter, hangarage, maintenance and luxury amenities for business and private aviation in the greater Los Angeles area, including Santa Barbara and Malibu.

“By bringing Sun Air Jets into FlyHouse, we are uniquely positioned to accelerate our vision and continue redefining private aviation,” Lambert said.

In buying Sun Air, FlyHouse now operates a larger owned and managed fleet, an FAA Part 145 repair station supporting maintenance and inspection activity, and a combined workforce of more than 100 additional aviation professionals across operations, maintenance, and client services.

The completed acquisition supports FlyHouse’s long-term growth strategy and positions the company to expand service offerings while maintaining disciplined operational oversight, Lambert said.

It also positions FlyHouse for future international expansion, he said.
