Big Brand Tire & Services acquires Midwest tire service provider

Moorpark-based Big Brand Tire & Service, a full-service auto repair facility, announced that it will be acquiring Belle Tire, the Midwest’s premier tire and automotive service provider, for an undisclosed amount.

Announced July 16, the acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026. Founded in 1969, the acquisition propels Big Brand Tire & Service past $1.5 billion in revenue, cementing its position as one of the nation’s leading tire and automotive service businesses, according to the press release.

Founded in 1922, Belle Tire is one of the most respected companies in the industry, delivering exceptional customer service across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, according to the press release.

The combined company will “build on a shared commitment to superior customer service and industry-leading employee satisfaction,” adding that “Big Brand has consistently partnered with the country’s top operators, like Belle Tire, to support their growth and unlock their full potential.”

“Belle Tire has built an exceptional business centered on its people, its customers, and the communities it serves,” said Joe Buscaglia, CEO of Big Brand. “We have tremendous respect for the Belle Tire team and the culture they have created over the past century. Big Brand Tire was purchased by PE firm Percheron Capital in 2021. Percheron Capital has over $8 billion in assets under management. 

Evercore Inc. acted as exclusive financial advisor to Big Brand, and Jefferies acted as exclusive financial advisor to Belle Tire.
