Tri-county companies make key additions
• Santa Barbara-based Bitwarden announced the appointment of Mary Writz as chief product officer. Writz brings more than 20 years of cybersecurity and product leadership experience and will lead product strategy and portfolio development for the company, which serves more than 15 million users and over 80,000 businesses across 180 countries.
• Westlake Village-based Turn Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing targeted, non-systemic therapies for inflammatory and infectious skin diseases, announced the appointment of Robert R. Redfield as chief scientific officer. Redfield brings more than four decades of experience in immunology, microbiology, infectious disease, clinical research, and public health.
• Leavitt Central Coast Insurance Services added Franky Lopez as a commercial insurance broker in its Salinas office. Lopez brings more than a decade of experience in California’s agriculture sector, most recently serving as vice president of sales at Urth Agriculture. In his new role, he will serve businesses and agricultural operations throughout Monterey, San Luis Obispo, San Benito, Kern, Fresno, Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Imperial counties.
