Vida initiates S.O.S. program for charities

There’s more than one way to put your money where your mouth is.

For one tri-county wealth management group, that means taking a hit so regional nonprofits have a fighting chance.

As revenue streams dry up and grants get more competitive, some charities still have to pay wealth managers to ‘supervise’ their declining donations and decreased assets. These management fees can total tens of thousands of dollars in times when every cent counts.

Principals at Santa Barbara-based Vida Wealth Partners – formerly MJL Advisors – feel that every dollar a charity gives has a deep impact on the community, which is why they launched a new program to help nonprofits help others.
