Coastal commission hands setback to Oxnard oil company’s fracking proposal

The California Coastal Commission on Aug. 14 handed a setback to a proposal by Oxnard-based oil company DCOR, LLC to use hydraulic fracturing at 16 wells at Platform Gilda in federal waters off the coast of Ventura County.
