Goleta-based Resonant, a designer of filters for radio frequency front-ends, announced July 29 that John Philpott, the company’s chief financial officer, has left the company for personal reasons.

Ross Goolsby of Bridgepoint Consulting will join the company Aug. 1 and will become interim CFO after the company files its form 10-Q for the second quarter. Ross has more than 25 years’ experience in both public and private company finance.

Lisa Wolf, who has served as controller for the company since June 2014, has been promoted to Vice President of Finance. In addition to her expanded responsibilities, she will continue her duties for SEC reporting, SOX implementation and compliance and equity plan management.

“John has been with Resonant and served as the company’s CFO since June 2014,” said Terry Lingren, CEO and co-founder of Resonant. “We thank John for his many contributions to the company and wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Lingren added, “We are excited to acknowledge Lisa’s financial capability and commitment with her promotion to VP of finance. Lisa has over 20 years of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience and we look forward to her ongoing support as the company grows and moves to its next stage.”

Lingen said an executive search has commenced for a permanent CFO who will play an active role in Resonant’s transition from a development-stage to a revenue-producing company.
