Jason Williams Joins Fifth Third as Managing Director II, Private Bank

Fifth Third Bank, N.A., has appointed Jason Williams as Managing Director II, Private Bank, serving Southern California and Arizona. In this role, he will oversee all aspects of Private Bank activities in the region, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, strengthening client relationships, and driving sustainable growth.

Williams brings more than two decades of experience in wealth management and private banking leadership. He most recently served as Head of Wealth Management at a U.S.-based boutique firm, where he supported the organization’s strategic expansion into the U.S. market. He also founded and led a consulting firm focused on improving client experience and business performance through strategic execution. 

Previously, Williams held senior leadership roles at Wilmington Trust and Wells Fargo Wealth Management. At Wilmington Trust, he led national sales and client engagement efforts, helping the firm exceed annual goals for investment fees and net interest income. At Wells Fargo, he managed large, multi-state teams and led regions encompassing brokerage, private banking, fiduciary services, and lending, overseeing $85 billion in client assets and delivering significant revenue growth. 

Throughout his career, Williams has focused on building high-performing teams, enhancing client engagement, and driving strong financial performance. He has also been active in the community, serving on boards of cultural and educational organizations.

Williams holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and finance from Abilene Christian University.
