Although patrons initially recoiled from sticker shock, the market continues to grind it out and some tenants are thriving.
The project joins the ranks of other LEED Platinum buildings in Santa Barbara including the Victoria Garden Mews home built by Allen Construction and UC Santa Barbara’s Bren Hall.
Over the last year, the developer has been doing indoor work on the old grocery story building and has “curated” tenants for what will be called the Santa Barbara Public Market.
