Goleta real estate management company Yardi Systems announced that it has acquired Wun Systems, a coworking and workspace management platform based in Los Angeles.

Wun provides software, hardware and support services for more than 80,000 members, the two companies said in a news release Nov. 1. Its management, engineering and programming team will operate out of its U.S. and India offices under the Yardi banner.

“Yardi’s commitment to its clients and wanting to continually improve, innovate and grow is in line with our mission to fuel the space-as-a-service evolution,” Wun Systems CEO Dale Hersowitz said in a news release. “The synergy between the real estate market and the coworking and shared workspace market makes this relationship a natural fit and strengthens both of our offerings.”

With 654 employees in the Tri-Counties, Yardi was the second largest software firm in the region in 2017.

“We are excited to be part of such a dynamic and growing market segment,” said Gordon Morrell, executive vice president of Yardi. “With shared workspace on the rise, this gives commercial and residential real estate companies the flexibility to explore new revenue streams and customer retention strategies.”
