Ventura’s The Trade Desk joins S&P 500 index

Shares of The Trade Desk received a nice bump in after-hours trading on July 14 after it was announced that the ad-tech company would be joining the S&P 500 beginning on July 18. The Trade Desk, which first went public in 2016, saw shares close at $75.43 on July 14 and then saw those same shares jump 15% in after-hours trading following the announcement.
