Adventist Health pays fine over mishandling of patient records
Adventist Health, a hospital and clinic network in Simi Valley, will pay $40,000 as part of a civil settlement over its failure to protect patient medical files. AeroVironment, a drone company based in Simi Valley, announced Feb. 24 that it has acquired the Intelligent Systems Group from Progeny Systems Corp. for $30 million or more in cash.
